Why do we wake up so energised sometimes?

It was a Sunday. I woke up at 10:00 AM with tremendous amount of energy. My legs felt as if they had springs in them. I was hardly able to not jump at once instead of just walking like a normal human being.

What changed? Often it is the opposite. It's difficult even to walk with legs feeling weak.

Probably factors :

1. Slept for 10 hours.: Completed my 8 hours of sleep. Try to achieve this everyday. Wake up without an alarm after 8 hours of sleep. Ideally sleep at 8 PM? Start winding down around 7PM, which means have your last meal around 5 PM.

2. Humidity:
One other thing I have changed is the humidity of the room.
The air of the room was very dry because of the constant AC use.
Kept an open container of water, sprayed water all over the room and made the curtains wet as well.

3. Oxygen : The only other things was the snake plant, I put 4 snake plants in my room the night before to increase the oxygen in the room.


In short :
Gave enough rest to the body.
Made sure the air was humid enough. (Maybe buy a humidifier?)
Made sure the air had enough oxygen.

Interesting to note that such simple things can affect quality of my life in such tremendous way.

Learning : Optimise your sleep to maximum extent. I would go as far as to say that the quality of your sleep is the quality of your life.
